Das Flugzeug spielte eine wichtige Rolle im "Commonwealth Air Training" während des Zweiten Weltkriegs. Ebenfalls im Design enthalten ist ein stilisiertes Maple Leaf, das Motto der RAF "Sic Itur ad Astra", sowie der Ausgabestaat "CANADA" und die Jahreszahlen "1924" und "2024". Die Rückseite präsentiert das Porträt von König Charles III. sowie die Aufschriften "CHARLES III", "D.G. REX" und "100 DOLLARS". Die Gedenkmünze wurde aus 99,99% reinem Gold geprägt und auf nur 1.500 Exemplare weltweit limitiert. Die Lieferung der Goldmünze in Polierter Platte erfolgt im Originaletui inklusive einem Echtheits-Zertifikat der Royal Canadian Mint.

This gold coin is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Since its founding in 1924, the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) has become a historic national institution and plays a vital role in the defense and security of Canada. The RCAF is responsible for air defense, aerial reconnaissance, transport, search and rescue operations. The design of the commemorative coin features the De Havilland DH-82C Tiger Moth in flight. The aircraft played an important role in "Commonwealth Air Training" during the Second World War.
