Imagine the sheer joy when we stumbled on an ENTIRE set of dinnerware and serviceware in virtually mint condition by Harkerware in its Alpine design.  Yes, an entire service for six (6) with serving pieces!  This listing is for the six (6) dinner plates only, but we're happy to combine shipping and bundle for anyone who is interested in multiples... check for other items in our store!

It's hard to accurately describe this very distinctive color - it's a soft pinkish mocha blush, featuring white "alpine" flowers, randomly drawn, with turquoise dotted centers.  As evidenced in the photos, the shade changes a bit in various light.  The design is quintessential mid century atomic era.  In fact, "Alpine" was produced by Harker starting in 1957 and is long discontinued.  These dinner plates (and the entire set) are in excellent condition for age, with very minimal utensil marks and crazing.  I can imagine it was someone's mom's or grandma's set of special occasion dishes and was used sparingly.  This design would be absolutely perfect in any retro design home, or for any admirer of the simply cool sensibility of 1950s era design!
