FASCINATING! Vintage Ceramic Death Mask
Life-sized art piece featuring bronzed patina finish!

This fascinating find is likely a death mask – made to memorialize the face of a loved one. This death mask is made from thick, stoneware that has been painted in patinaed bronze with a matte overglaze. This exceptional piece is likely vintage, and could portray an adult female, perhaps of Germanic heritage.

This stoneware mask is unsigned, but does bear a “checkmark” and “G” marking on the inside of the mask. The mask has a hole on each side for either putting a string through or for mounting on a display.

Condition:

This mask is in MINT condition! It shows very few, if any, signs of use or wear, and is free from major damage, flaw, and repair!

Returns:

I accept a no-questions-asked money back return policy granted the request is made up to 30 days after the item arrives. I refund only the purchase price of the item and, if free return shipping is offered on the listing, the full return shipping. It is your responsibility to return the item to me in the same condition it was sent to you. If the item is returned in an inferior condition as to how it was sent, a full return might not be granted. New items that come back in an inferior condition or are removed from their original packaging will not be granted a full refund.
