Pictured is an early true spatter spatterware dinner plate with a freehand decoration of the Adams Rose pattern.  The plate has a wide cobalt blue border and is fourteen (14) sided.  It measures 1 1/4" in height and 9 1/4" in diameter.  It is incised on the underside by the maker "T. WALKER", a seldom seen mark.  Walker produced wares in Tunstall from 1845 - 1855.  The plate is in near mint condition with light wear seen at 9 o'clock on the front side.
