VW Passat W8 Auto Dimming Interior Mirror Rain Sensor Gray GTI Jetta VR6 GLX

This Pearl Gray interior rear view mirror with auto dimming feature and rain sensor was gently removed from a 2004 Volkswagen Passat sedan. This mirror assembly was available on select Volkswagen Passat B5.5 and MK4 Golf / Jetta build models, roughly years 2000-2005. Assembly part number is 3B0857511JY20. Wire harness part number is 3B0971411A.

The mirror glass and housing are in good functional condition with no noticeable glass clouding, scratches or cracks. The mirror housing is used and may have some minor blemishes and wear marks. The auto dimming and ambient lighting features have been tested and confirmed functional (see photos). Original trim covers are included as shown. Chassis side harness pigtail is included to aid in retrofitting auto-dimming function.
