These are possibly the notes of Herbert Foxwell FBA, who alongside his more well known activities as an economist had become somewhat of an expert on Japanese prints whilst lecturing at the Tokyo Imperial University. They come from papers that were associated with him, but as I don't have handwriting to compare, it is just a suggestion. Alternatively, it may have been provided to him from a dealer who hoped he might purchase from him.

If I have quoted a parcel postage price it is because I can't send it flat any other way without adding new folds, which I won't do. I will send on existing folds though where it is possible.
