Up for sale is a good used OEM BMW E30 Aluminum Heater Core Pipe Heater Core Coolant Valve 88-91 318i 325i.

Part number: 64111386707

Details: This BMW E30 heater valve was pulled from a nice 1989 BMW 325iS in good condition. The heater valve did not leak and shows no signs of leaking. Always replace orings upon installation. This is made for heater cores with a dual inlet (2 pipes). Please use the part number to verify fitment and make sure it matches the one you’re replacing.

The new valves BMW is selling have a poor design, so these old valves in good condition are a great solution to a common problem.

If replacing a bad heater valve MAKE SURE YOU DONT HAVE EXCESSIVE COOLANT PRESSURE in your E30. If you have excessive coolant pressure these valves will be the first thing to go, as they are a weak point in the E30s cooling system. You would be shocked at how many E30s have an internal head gasket leak pushing pressure into the cooling system and blowing these heater valves.
