Description

A very early variety with a vegetation period of about 70-75 days.
The fruits weigh 2 - 5 kg, are spherical and dark green in color.
The fleshy part is intensely red, juicy and sweet, with relatively small fruits to around 20 cm in diameter.

Cultivation
Sow the seeds from late April under glass (min temp 18 deg C) in a good quality moist (not waterlogged) seed compost.
Cover to a depth of approx 5 mm - 10 mm
Germination usually takes between 2 and 3 weeks.
Maintain the temps day and night .
When the seedlings are large enough to handle prick them out an pot on into 3" pots.
Grow on under glass 1 plant per growbag and keep well fed and watered.
For growing outdoors gradually acclimatise to outside conditions before finally planting out appx 4 feet apart. after all risk of cold nights (min 12 deg C) has passed
Keep the fruits of the ground as this can cause the fruits to rot.
