This issue is particularly collectable because it is Kate Moss’s first cover but it is covetable because it is packed full of interesting features, fashion, art and people and fantastic photography. Its opulent pages thrill and fill one with desire for all things glamorous.

London Style, London Girls – who’s who in the leading pack and what they are wearing.
Fashion’s new spirit- Eclectic, unpredictable and more than a little bohemian, London girls have always been around. Lisa Armstrong identifies style and attitude – who has it and how to wear it… Donna Karan, Karl Lagerfeld, Calvin Klein, Jasper Conran, John Galliano, Christian Dior, Prad
Biba – Linda Watson remembers Biba – Great pictures and text
Big City, Bright Lights -Photographed by Andrew MacPherson - people and performers who illuminate London – Kate Moss and Mario Sorrenti, Jamiroquai, Saffron Burrows, Corrine Day, John Galliano, David Sims and more….
More Dash then Cash – Mario Testino- How to pull together silhouette, colour and pattern to achieve inexpensive on- trend looks – 6 very colourful pages of bright spring/summer trends
The Net Effect -An unusual and creative 6 page shoot by Fabrizio Ferrri -Concealing, revealing mesh opens up a mass of possibilities of sensual dressing. Striking black against black setting with couture by Jean Paul Gaultier, Martine Sitbon, Prada, Edina Ronay, Moschino
Biba – Linda Watson remembers Biba – Biba captured in pictures and text
More Dash then Cash – Mario Testino – How to pull together silhouette, colour and pattern to achieve inexpensive on- trend looks – 6 vibrant pages of bright spring/summer trends
Advertisements of note: Special mentions go to Naomi Campbell's ad for Falmers which is outstanding, the Moschino ad which is weirdly wonderful as is Jean Paul Gaultier's ad copy. This certainly raises the question: Is fashion art and furthermore is advertising art? With this edition of Vogue I would say yes to both.

Detailed Condition Report of the magazine on sale: This magazine is in very good condition. It is clean and bright. The orange lettering has not faded which is very often the case with this issue however there is a slight loss of orange on the V and O where is has fine surface scratches, it is minor. Given this is a gatefold the narrow strip of page 3 which is exposed is slightly darker than when new - see the second photo which is page 3. The back cover has a small tear on the top edge and a small scuff on the background half way down on the left. The spine is strong, white and intact, the internal pages are good too.

STILL IN VOGUE has a policy of honesty in the description of the vintage and used magazines we sell. This may work against us in that we draw attention to damage and it sounds much worse than it is. Not all vintage magazine sellers offer individual condition reports so one is left to assume their magazines are all in mint condition. We hope however that you, the buyer, appreciate that we want to supply you with goods that will match or exceed your expectations and not dash them.
