In 1977 the rights to publish the James Bond novels inpaperback were acquired by Triad Paperbacks Ltd (a subsidiary of GranadaPublishing). The Ian Fleming titles were then published under the Triad/Pantherimprint, (with later printings under the Triad Granada, then Triad Grafton).

The Triad Panther set included film tie-in editions ofChristopher Wood's James Bond, The Spy Who Loved Me and James Bond andMoonraker.

Ian Fleming’s The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker were notreleased until Triad’s second imprint ‘Triad Granada’ series.  Which was an incomplete set as they did notre-release Casino Royale.

Triad’s third series release was their ‘Triad Grafton’series.  Which had a smaller print run,and only released select titles from the series.

This set also includes the first James Bond continuationnovel; Colonel Sun, by Kingsley Amis.

These books would continue to be reissued until 1987 whenCoronet would take over publication of the UK paperbacks.
