Selected quarter cut tiger oak veneer place it in panels and mounted in layers, given the distinguish shape and grain of a wood horn that most collectors enjoy. 
Two conical pieces of brass plus a pin support the wood and let you get a perfect attach to your elbow. 

The finish: 
Please check the grain and color and see that this is not a superficial finish, it requires a lot of effort and time to get this type of finish.
It will provide you:
