Somdej Wat Rakang is The King of all Phra Krueng Buddha amulet in thailand. Somdej Toh Promrangsri the most famous sacred monk of Rattanakosin era made this amulet in the ancient time.The first of Somdej Wat Rakang was made in 1860 and continue to made this mold in various occasions.

 Somdej Toh made his Phra Somdej by mixing the various types of Material composite such as : Shell lime , Phong Vises (holy powder, ittijay, eaynisinghay), assorted flowers from shine, rice remains after his consumption, lotus, ashes from incense burns, honey, tang oil, etc.  There were 5 different type of Phra Somdej amulets created, but all were in rectangular forms. The Rectangle form of Phra Somdej is the first Buddha Amulet that build in this shape.

The Unique art style and beautiful image of Buddha make this Phra Somdej to be the most famous and most wanted Buddha amulet in Thailand and also Worldwide.

This Mold was made in Wat Rakang Kositaram by imitate the image of Big Buddha Statue in the main chapel.

Somdej Toh's disciple Magician Monk of Wat Rakang Kositaram Temple of Thailand created and blessed this amulet in 1972 (2515 BE) for using as
