HOOD STRUT KIT

Eliminate your factory hood prop rod with this 2005-2014 Mustang hood strut kit from MRT.

Opening the hood and having to put your prop rod up will be something of the past with this kit. This kit installs with no drilling required for a true bolt-on installation. Designed with twin upgraded hood struts, these are designed to hold up to 100 pounds. This will make the strong enough to handle all stock hoods and aftermarket hoods. Lightweight steel brackets. Complete your new engine bay bolt-on.

This kit was installed. Struts are brand new upgraded 100lbs units which will support both stock aluminum or aftermarket hoods. The brackets are simply painted gloss black over original black powdercoat which is okay at best. Please see photos for condition.
