This listing is for (1) random unofficial 3rd Party PlayStation 1 memory card that has been that has been used previously. The Memory Cards have been inspected, cleaned, and tested on both PS1 and PS2.



Please note: You're not paying for the data included on the memory card. You're paying for the memory card and my time, including time spent cleaning and refurbishing these cards and limited support of the product. The actual UniROM software is FOSS (Free Open Source Software). The memory card includes at no additional charge, the latest version of UniROM for the system  firmware based on your Playstation Model. At last check the current version of UniROM is 8.0K. However, if there is a newer version available at the time of sale, you will get most current updated version. For this reason, you will not be refunded for any issues relating to the function of UniROM.

Slot 1 or Slot 2?: 
FreePSXBoot memory card images are provided for SLOT 1 or SLOT 2.  By default all cards are flashed for use in SLOT 2  with the exception of BIOS 2.0 (SCPH-1001 or SCPH-1002) the memory card containing FreePSXBoot must be inserted in SLOT 1, and another memory card must be present in SLOT 2. The memory card in SLOT 2 can have any content. If you are using a Memcard Pro (Not included), or need to use the two memory card slots normally, request a SLOT 1 card instead.

The memory card must be plugged in the corresponding slot on the PlayStation for FreePSXBoot to work. It is recommended to select SLOT 2 in the option above, as they allow the FreePSXBoot memory card to remain plugged in while using another memory card in SLOT 1 for normal operations.

When launched from a memory card in SLOT 2, FreePSXBoot patches the PlayStation kernel to disable the memory card in SLOT 2, ensuring that the exploit doesn't trigger while playing a game. This means that the memory card doesn't have to be unplugged before launching a game.

All items are shipped via Canada Post with the exception of Local Pick-up sales.

Shipping Fees:

Shipping fees charged are the actual cost of shipping, in fact, they're even discounted. Canada post just charges a lot to ship tracked packages, and ebay requires that packages have tracking numbers in order to be eligible for seller protection, so please do not blame us for the high costs of shipping. Fun Fact - It's cheaper for us to Ship to the USA than within Canada because Canada post has to do less work.

Tracking:

All tracked shipments (Where applicable) can be tracked at Canadapost.ca or through Ebay (Less reliable). Shipments may not show any tracking updates for several days in some cases. If your package hasn't arrived on the scheduled due date, please contact me and I will notify Canada Post who will begin an inquiry into it's whereabouts.


Shipping discounts on multiple purchases:

If when checking out with multiple items you notice you're being charged multiple shipping fees you must request a total in order to receive a discounted shipping fee. In some cases, due to Canada post restrictions, we must mail some orders out in separate packaging and those orders will not qualify for the shipping discount.

Packaging:

In an effort to reduce costs and waste we re-use a lot of materials when shipping packages to you. Everything from the Box to the filler inside. We also use Biodegradable and Compostable material when possible and you may see some of our packaging marked as such. Best of all, we don't charge you a single cent for any of the packaging or supplies we use such as paper, tape and filler/bubble wrap etc..

We use the eBay 'Shipping Calculator' to determine the fairest and most
accurate shipping cost. The cost also includes a handling charge of
$1.00 to $3.50 depending on item size and weight to cover packing
material expenses such as boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, packing
peanuts, tape, labels and ink. And this is a very reasonable fee to
ensure your item arrives safe and sound and intact! We will combine
shipping on all listed and purchased items.


Customs & Duty Fees:

International buyers maybe charged for importing packages into the country. We will not enter a false or lower value on any item as it would effect any claim in the event of a lost package.


Lost,  Delayed & Unclaimed Packages:

In the event we ship your package to you and you fail to pick the package up within the 2 week time frame provided by Canada Post, your package will:

A). Be deemed abandoned and forfeited and become the property of Canada Post to be auctioned or destroyed at their discretion.

B). Be deemed abandoned and forfeited and shipped back to us at our expense with said expense considered to be the purchase price of the item from Canada Post, thereby becoming our rightful property once again.

Letter Mail:

We've never had a letter mail package go missing and we've shipped all over the world! However, in the event one doesn't show up, we ask that you kindly wait 30 days from the date of shipping for the item to arrive, and if after 30 days it still hasn't arrived we will offer you a replacement or a refund at our discretion.


Tracked Packages:

In the event a tracked package is delayed or lost in shipping, Canada post requires that 30 days must pass before a claim may be opened. If your package hasn't arrived within 30 Days of shipping please contact us and we will open a claim with Canada Post. 

We will then ask you to fill out a claim form (as required by Canada Post) stating you didn't receive the package. Once a claim has been opened Canada post will then investigate the packages whereabouts, this process usually takes 2 weeks, but may take longer for international shipments and depending on the time of season. We will remain in touch with you throughout the case, updating you with any new information we receive. Once a claim has been approved we will immediately offer you a full refund or offer to ship you a replacement, whichever you choose. 

Please keep in mind deliveries maybe delayed due to customs (Upto 2 weeks), holidays, weekends, pandemics and natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and bad weather etc..


Returns, Refunds & Cancelations

Returns & Refunds:

In general NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS are accepted on any purchases (with a few exceptions) because we carefully test and ship everything we sell and provide honest photos and descriptions of all of our products.

This policy is something we've had to regretfully put into place after years of experience selling on ebay and dealing with fraudulent claims and eBay's unwillingness to protect it's sellers and educate it's staff members properly.

Refunds maybe issued for Tracked Packages in the event of damage due to improper handling during shipping, any such refund must be approved by Canada post as mentioned above under Tracked Packages.

We may at our discretion also allow untracked items to be returned and exchanged at the buyers expense in the event the buyer claims any issues with the item. 

No Returns, Refunds or Exchanges will be accepted under any circumstances for items sold "AS-IS/FOR PARTS"

Cancelations:

We're happy to allow cancelations on purchases so long as the item hasn't shipped yet. Even if the item was marked as shipped, this just means it's in the Out Box and may not have actually been handed off to a postal employee/drop off location, so feel free to ask if you require a cancelation. Unfortunately once an item has shipped we're unable to cancel an order.
