Pictured is a beautiful slip decorated yellow ware butter crock lid.  The lid is decorated with four (4) thin white slip bands each becoming wider upon nearing the button finial grip.  It has great color & color contrast.  It measures 6 1/4" in diameter and dates from 1860 - 1885.  No nicks, damage or repairs whatsoever.
