This is a fabric called Kasuri, which features a continuous pattern from the Kurume region of Chikugo in Kyushu, Japan. It is particularly unique with its tiger and distinctive geometric patterns.  Although it is an old piece from the Meiji era, its condition is quite good. While some can be stiff, this one has a notably soft texture and is of high quality. You can understand the intricate process involved in weaving this beautiful pattern by watching its production on platforms like YouTube. It requires many painstaking steps that can be overwhelming.
