The front and rear wheels of the new Battlax BT 016 Pro feature Bridgestone's renowned multi-layer compound technology.

Two different rubber compounds are used on both wheels thanks to the 3LC (Three Layer Compound) process:

The compound in the center of the tread ensures good transmission of braking power to the front wheel and high traction and mileage to the rear wheel, while the compound on the shoulder of the tire is responsible for maximum grip in lean angles.

The rubber compounds used in the BT 016 Pro have been completely reworked and give the BT 016 Pro a further improvement in wet grip, while increasing mileage.

The "Silica Rich EX" (increased silica content in the compound) and "RC Polymer" technologies are used. The "RC Polymer" technology supports the effect of silica and at the same time controls the variation of the rubber compound as a function of temperature.

The front and rear wheel structure is based on Bridgestone's proven HTSPC (High Tensile Super Penetrated Cord) platform with MSB (Mono Spiral Belt) steel belt.

Thanks to this structure, skid control and trajectory fidelity when cornering are optimized without sacrificing good shock absorption.

The increased rigidity of the structure helps maintain a constant contact area and stability at high speeds. The profile of the Battlax BT 016 Pro has remained unchanged compared to the BT 016.
