Characteristics

     

   The gas mask EO-19 "Hamster" (rus-HOMYAK) was specially developed

for the Soviet Airborne Forces. During skydiving, protruding filters in classic version 

gas masks interfere a lot, in the EO-19 these filters are built-in 

puffy cheeks, which is why he was called the hamster. 

Also, the feature of the gas mask is that it has an additional interior 

mask, helps prevent glasses from fogging up, and also contributes to a 

excellent comfort when wearing a gas mask.

   The EO-19 gas mask is designed to protect the respiratory organs, face 

and the eyes of the troops from the effects of poisonous, radioactive substances, 

potent toxic substances, bacterial agents, radioactive dust, as well 

light radiation from a nuclear explosion.

    The EO-19 gas mask can be used in all climate zones  in summer,

autumn, winter and spring periods of the year in day and night conditions,
