Two original vintage refund checks issued by Montgomery Ward & Company more than 80 years ago.

• Check number 513522, dated November 1940, in the amount of 36 cents; and check number 552087, dated May 1940, in the amount of 11 cents.



• Both checks are payable at par through the Northern Trust Company, Chicago, today one of the largest banking institutions in the United States and one of the oldest banks in continuous operation.



• Condition:  These two checks are in very good condition. The May check has a narrow hole, and the November check has a clipped corner. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
