Eagle clan vintage totem. 11” x 3”

This Totem was originally purchased in the early 40s in Prince Rupert Canada.

Signed on the back and in very good condition except the tip of the eagle wings.

I believe it’s a tourist object from that era (?).

It is nicely painted and carved, what you don’t see anymore, and most lately on my recent trips to Alaska many tourist pieces are now made in the Far East and Alaskan and Canadian Natives are making traditional pieces for Art Galleries.

Imagine this item could have been made by the grandfather of a current artist today as these skills often were passed down.

Makes a very nice collectible.
