This rare compound needs a complete overall.

Here's the issues with it.

1. Fair amount of backlash in the x movement. Perhaps ajustable, I do not know

2. The first z axis has a .3mm shim between the gib and the crossslide, a new gib would be required in the rebuild.

3. The back z axis needs repairs to the compound  last t-slot.

4. Because it was in a repair/general factory, this compound needs complete teardown to remove all the dirt from it. Damage would occur if kept like this.

5. The nuts and t-bolts for the back compound are missing.

The overall condition is fair. Would make a great rebuild or donor for this hard to find accessory.

The good:

1. It's complete

2. Every movement works

3. The dials are in good condition and easy to set

4. Considered an accesory, the versatility of the back z axis permits intricate work.
