Tightly re-bound in half leather with marbled boards, this 507 page hard back contains several lightly tanned black/white plates & also line drawings, but is clean internally with light spotting evident to the frontispiece and author`s portrait evident, and is in FAIR CONDITION overall despite the original title page having been replaced with a pale blue facsimile & the front free end papers being heavily creased - with the previous owner`s details and stamp entered, together with a small press cutting.
A detailed 1859 Regents Street Gun Manufacturer`s Invoice is also included with this book.
