Invicta Pro Diver mod 37361

This is another “cage” timepiece by Invicta. Made in a limited production run and quite difficult to come by. I have limited stocks of the rose gold and also blue models.

At 55mm in dia and 22mm thick, these pieces are not for the faint hearted. This is an extreme build by Invicta. The attention to detail and fit and finish are extraordinary. The unidirectional bezel has a solid rotational mechanical click about it that belies the fact that it is fully operational beneath the hinged cage mechanism and can be rotated with the cage in place.

The dial is deep dished, brown in colour and supports chronograph functions of elapsed 1/10th seconds and accumulated minutes. A perpetual seconds sub-dial is in the 3 o’clock position and features a rotating propeller as the counter. The large date display is in the 6 o’clock position, day is the week is just above the dial centre position, observed though an aperture in the main sweep seconds hand. The movement is the Swiss Made Ronda 5050C 13 jewel model. As far as quartz movements are concerned it does not get much better than this.

The cage on this timepiece hinges from the top of the case at a point near where the bracelet fastens. It then locks down in the same position at the bottom of the case. All chronograph functions and time setting duties can be accomplished with the cage in the locked down position. In practice the cage is present to protect the timepiece from accidental damage.

The bracelet is formed from a single “H” link, five mm thick, 30mm wide at the lugs and tapering to 26mm wide at the deployment clasp. The over centre double locking bracelet clasp has been machined from a single piece of 2mm thick stainless billet, complimenting the robust build of the rest of the timepiece. One hundred metres of water resistance completes what is an extraordinary build by Invicta.

Timepiece is new with tag and plastics attached. Comes with paperwork in an Invicta One Slot Dive Case and will be sent free via Express Post within the land of Oz.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige
