On offer are a pair of eight [8] pin 'Din Plugs' with 'side' cable entry which are new-old stock and being offered as one lot.

The plug fits a standard size Din series of connectors, with the pin configuration as shown in the photographs. To open the shell to access the connections, the cable strain-relief sleeve needs to be pulled off, as shown in photographs 6 and 7.

These plugs were extensively used on many pieces of equipment during the 1970s & 1980s, including tape recorders and studio audio and video equipment. Although once common-place these unusual types are now becoming more difficult to find.

These are in clean, unused condition, which with the description can better be judged from the photographs and are of the actual plugs on offer for sale.
