Vintage Omega watch movement with serial number 9502408 is a 15 jewel, 30T2 movement that dates to about 1943. The previous owner claims his father, who was in the Army Air Corp, traded a pack of smokes for this watch to a Britsh aviator. Maybe? Maybe not? The watch comes is a 34 - or 35-millimeter case and has a sub second two-tone dial. Watch runs but likely needs a proper servicing as it runs slow. When the jeweler popped the back, the watertight seal was broken. It is still there, but barely hanging on. The watch dial has some particle build-up; but otherwise, it is excellent. Some faint scratching to crystal and case. Case back is a screw-back and has the number 10178718 engraved on back. Rare Jumbo sized military watch, and very attractive at that.
