The front element has always been protected with a 52mm filter( filter is included ) . This lens is designed and constructed for top grade professional optic performance. Cosmetically,  THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SIGN OF USE or WEAR ON THIS LENS, there is no mark, no brassing, no scratch, no scuff , no dings, no nick of any kind on the entire lens. The filter thread is in perfect condition. Lens mount has absolutely no sign of wear, no rust , no stain,  in pristine condition. Rubber grip is super clean and free of any kind of fading or wear, in brand new condition.  

Functionally, the lens been fully tested, the lens works perfectly, focus is very firm and buttery smooth. Aperture ring stops positively and clearly at all F stops> Aperture blades are oil-free and mark-free, in perfect condition. Aperture movement is snappy. Built-in lens hood works firm and smoothly.

This is Nikon NIKKOR 135 AI-s F2.8 lens that fits all Nikon cameras ranging from early 60’s to the newer digital SLRs including manual focus or Auto focus film system and most newer digital cameras, the focus will only work manually when work with auto focus cameras. The auto aperture indexing will work with Nikon DSLRs such as D2 D300 D3 D700 D600 D800 etc.  aperture priority function will also work on these cameras with some limitation.
