QUALITY OF RAW MATERIALS

The most important raw material is the filling, being better the one that is able to retain more heat.

There are down and polyester fiber fillers. The first, if it is high percentage in down (90% down and 10% feather) and high weight, has a higher calorific performance, while polyester fiber has a low maintenance and long life.

STRUCTURE AND DESIGN

As the bag is structured according to the standard profile of the people (mummy type), the bag will better insulate and if it has side partitions it will evenly distribute the warm air around the user.

USER SIZE

The complexion of the person will modify the comfort temperature of a bag in a substantial way.

The human body is a heat generator at a constant temperature of 36º ± 1º. A small person will occupy less volume inside the sack and therefore there will be a greater volume of air to be heated.

A person of medium/large build will occupy a larger volume inside the sack and therefore not leaving an excessive volume of air it will reach a higher temperature.

A person of very large build will leave little volume of air to heat so he will not manage to heat it either before it has escaped outside.
