Artist Statement Summary:

This piece is something different in the middle of my ongoing coffee series. I have been working with a lot of ink and needed a change of subject and medium. This piece was created by transferring images to the paper.

About my art: My work is hand drawn and then painted or stained with inks or other media. They are mostly india ink although I have included different types of inks (computer, calligraphy, alcohol inks) and dyes. There may also be some pieces created using acrylic paint, permanent marker, alcohol marker, gouche, watercolor, conte, charcoal or chalk. These are all on professional paper. Usually watercolor paper. It really absorbs the ink well! I also enjoy creating using many different styles and techniques!
