This mini ceramic figurine is a must-have for any animal lover or collector.  It features a cute raccoon with a glossy finish, and the design showcases animal-inspired art.

I used this in my Circus train cages for my G-gauge layout of zoo animals as they were the perfect size for small "baby" creatures.  On an O-scale Lionel display they also worked as full grown animals (they look too gigantic for HO scale).  The kids growing up loved them as did my grandkids now.  I am moving to different layouts so some of these animals will become available. Approx. 1.25 in.

The figurine is part of the Wade Whimsies/Red Rose Tea promotions from the 1960s and is a rare find.  I had great fun using/repurposing them as themed pieces on display on all my train layouts.  They are solid glass and durable (don't break or chip easily because of the glossy finish)... and because they weigh more than the plastic animals they stayed in place much easier on a moving train!
