Wind up music plays beautifully! The song is "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" and is such a lovely nostalgic tune to put you in a happy mood longing for days gone by (ask me how I know, this was my mother's) You plug this in and turn on the switch in the cord and the light changing colors is soothing and cheerful to see, in the dark or in low lighting especially. It makes a low faint humming sound which is the motor inside which makes the light change colors (I'm guessing there is a rotating disk with the different colors the light shines through). It's been on the shelf since before my mom died 8 years ago and now that my father passed, I'm cleaning out the house little by little. I think this is rare, the song is perfect, and I don't really want to sell it.. but if you'll love this or know of someone whose day this will brighten up make me an offer.

The box isn't in the best shape.

I can't find any flaws, but I'm sure if one looks really closely they'd find some minor scratches here and there.  Is dusty/dirty and will need wiped and spit shined.
