Magritte line

Rene Magritte (1898-1967) was a Belgian painter. Together with Paul Delvaux he is considered the greatest painter of surrealism in BelgiumAfter initial closeness to Cubism and futurism, his style focused on a very accurate representational technique based on trompe l'oeil, on a par with Salvador Dalì and Delvaux, but without resorting to the paranoid type symbolism of the first or the erotic-antique type of the second.

But René Magritte, also known as le saboteur tranquille, i.e. the silent disturber, due to his ability to insinuate doubts about reality through the representation of reality itself, does not approach reality to interpret it, nor to portray it, but to show its indefinable mystery. The intention of his work is to allude to everything as a mystery and not to define it.
