ARTISTIC MAIOLICA VICENTINA

The Italian Province of Vicenza is renowned internationally for ceramic processing, 
dwhere theancient manual skills of master ceramists, was passed down to new generations. Respecting 
rigorously the production phases of majolica as was done in the past. 

We start from the glue which is poured into the molds and once the piece dries it is removed 
mold and a long process begins:

1) The first fire at 1015°C  
2) Enamelling, the object is submerged in the enamel which is absorbed by the ceramic.
3) The second fire at 980°C, and here the MAIOLICA comes out.
4) The decoration e the third fire at 820°C
5) The fourth fire at 720°C it applies to all objects decorated with 24 carat Gold foil , 
platinum leaf, with luster finish and the satin ones.
Each fire from start to cool is a long 16 hour process.
