Original owner received this item as a gift. She removed tags packaging, but pan has never been used.  However, there is a tiny spot on a flat surface where a little fleck of the finish is off (see picture.)  It is within a very small line dent that I couldn't capture in a photo. Since the owner never used the pan, it is suspected that it may have received the minor damage in transport.
