vintage architect's lamp on a weighted base in vivid brown and white, dating from the 1970s. This large, angle poise-style lamp has excellent manoeuvrability and reach, designed originally to direct focused light across large architect drawings. It's ideal for task lighting, but also casts a large pool of light across your desk due to the wide shade.

The lamp is made of aluminium with white trim. The base is plastic and is weighted for stability. The whole lamp pivots in the base, the shade pivots on the arm, and the arms can be raised and lowered. Its joints are fastened with nuts and bolts, meaning that they can be tightened / loosened to make the arms more or less rigid. It takes a standard bayonet cap (B22) bulb.

Dimensions: Max height 88cm

Base; length 20cm, width 14cm.

The lamp is in good working order, and good vintage condition. There are some chips to the paint, mainly by the middle joint, plus 2 on the shade (these have been touched up). Some of the plastic has become brittle and chipped, although this does not affect functionality. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
