Scott Burns is a retired engineering professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His artwork is an outgrowth of research he's been applying in computer graphics to visualize the behavior of iterative numerical methods in engineering design. Burns exhibited his artwork at art fairs throughout central U.S. from 1990 to 2015. He still teaches a few classes each year at U of I and conducts research on various topics of interest, most recently colorimetry. Burns recently returned to school for a few years as a non-degree undergraduate student in Fine and Applied Arts at U of I studying ceramics, and also assisted a fellow proffessor, Stephen Cartwright, with his artistic efforts.

In vintage new condition, always stored in a plastic sleeve.
