This bass recorder is in maple wood at A=440. The body is in one piece except for the cap and the fontanelle as you can see. It needs to be tuned and voiced to put it into top condition. The only thing I could do for it is polish the brass rings as you see in the photos.


Cosmetically, there are a few flaws. The side wall to the windway ramp is scratched, but not enough to affect the sound. There are scratches here and there, the biggest of which is on the front. It was filled in very well and there's no difference in texture between it and the wood. There's masking tape wrapped around the key to make the fontanelle fit better. The key itself works fine.


I basically bought this blind from a different online auction and I decided it isn't for me.
