Rare antique Sterling Silver 1898 GAR Civil War Veteran Collectible Souvenir Spoon with rare MISPRINT ERROR. The word “Cincinnati” is misspelled on the spoon head. It is spelled “CNICINNATI”. The spoon also features a GAR Civil War Veteran design featuring an eagle on top of a pair of crossed cannons over an American flag over a 5-pointed star with a blue and silver GAR symbol inside and in very small numbers 1861-1866. On the backside it has multiple markings including a cursive monogram name “Emma”, a makers mark, words “STERLING PAT. 1891” and the name “C. OSKAMP”.
