Invicta really do this type of sports watch well. The fit and finish on these pieces is second to none on a watch that is not a lot of money. Admittedly what you are paying here is far from retail however even at the correct price these pieces represent excellent value for money compared to what is out there in the land of Oz.

At 50mm in dia and 17mm thick these models are hefty pieces. The dial is deep dished in a beautiful deep metallic green. Ten minute white lumed indices are in large Arabic font. Large white lumed batten indices make up the remainder of the dial information. Large hour and minute hands are skeletonised and finished in gold, tipped in white lume. The main sweep seconds hand is finished in white lume.

The engine inside these models is the Seiko VD53 chronograph. The movement supports sub dials detailing elapsed seconds and accumulated minutes. The third sub dial in the 3 o’clock position displays a 24 hr day night clock. The large gold crown at the 3 o’clock position is flanked by two gold chronograph pushers. All three are tipped in green. A white date window can be found at the 6 o’clock position.

The fixed bezel has been colour matched with the dial and displays white lumed dive indices on its horizontal surface. Hex head screws have been fitted at 10 minute intervals around the bezel and are finished in gold. The soft silicone strap has grooved stainless steel bullet accents on its shoulders and sports a large gold stainless buckle adorned with the Invicta logo. A screw down back and excellent case integrity allow for a water resistance rating of up to 100 metres.

All in all these timepieces represent excellent value for money and make a great everyday casual wearer.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
