Raine designed her 'Chrome and Leather' in the likeness of Le Corbusier's overwhelmingly popular LC-2 single chair which debuted in 1928. 

LC-2 is a cube shaped high armchair, the leather cushions fill a chrome plated corset. A modernist design of the traditional club chair.
