Repairing an iPad is difficult and often expensive. Many of the previously repaired devices we see have low-quality parts, missing screws, excessive glue, and a general lack of care. This listing is for the iPad the iPad Mini 4 (A1538/A1550). You can find your model in the settings menu if you're not sure. The model number is on the back of the device. 

For this service, we will replace the battery on your iPad with a quality new one. Use this service if you know your battery health is low or the device is not holding charge. 

For power issues, such as the device not turning on or taking charge, this service may help, however, this is not a diagnosis service. We will replace the battery on the assumption that it is the battery. Feel free to message us if you need advice.

To get your repair, purchase the service through the normal checkout. Then, post the item to the address below. Please include a note with your order number and return address so we know where the item came from. Including your passcode is also helpful as this will allow us to test the device! You will pay for the postage but the return postage is free!

When the item arrives, we will repair your item and ship it back out to you. Repairs often take just 1-2 working days before being returned. On occasion, we may need to wait for a part but we stock the parts we use regularly.

Below are some guidelines and terms to ensure the service is efficient and to protect both parties

  1. We recommend backing up any photos/data before sending the item. In the unlikely event there is an issue, we cannot be responsible for any loss of data, consequential loss or sentimental loss related to the device.
  2. You are responsible for getting the item to us. We cannot accept responsibility for items until they reach us, so we recommend using a tracked and signed service and keeping your receipt!
  3. We cannot guarantee you repair if we are unable to test the repair. To guarantee the work, you must remove or give us any passwords so we are able to access and test the device's function. If you are hesitant, back up and reset the device, or log out of any accounts, before sending the device to us.
  4. We will test the device before repairing it. If we find any issues, we will contact you before any repair. If we are unable to verify the functions of other components, we will not accept responsibility for any fault that could not be checked before the repair.
  5. The guarantee is limited to the battery only. Your new battery is guaranteed for one year. A battery is replaceable under warranty if the battery health drops below 80% health in the first year, which we can test with a PC. Warranty claims will be rejected if the device is tested and found to still be above this.
  6. You must request your services with accuracy. If you send the wrong device or if the nature of the fault is completely different from the description provided, the item will be returned with a potential handling fee of £19. If you are unsure about any service please contact us first.
  7. Items will be returned for free with Royal Mail 24 Tracked and signed service. If you wish to purchase special delivery for your return postage, this is available at checkout. The free service is insured for up to £150. In the event of delivery issues, we will make a claim with Royal Mail. Any compensation will be passed onto you upon completion of their investigation.
  8. You are only paying for the parts and work outlined in the listing. We will not complete additional work unless otherwise agreed. In the event that the repair does not resolve an issue, such as a replacement battery not resolving a power issue, the work is nonrefundable, unless you have requested a diagnosis service and it is our mistake.

Warranty Information.

Computer-Superman will provide a 30 day Warranty on this product. If the product is found to be faulty or defective within 30 days of purchase we will offer a replacement or a full refund of the purchase price less any postage costs. The Warranty will only cover manufacturer faults and does NOT cover the following: Damage caused by liquid, Intentional damage, damage caused by dropping the product or intentional mistreatment. Damage caused by attempting to repair or adapt the device by yourself or a third party including jail-breaking and unlocking. Improper use of accessories, Faults or damage that may arise due to normal wear and tear – e.g scratches to touch screen, battery life. To make a claim under the warranty please contact us in the first instance for assistance.

The warranty is only effective from the date of the initial purchase. If an item is exchanged the warranty will not restart from the date of the return/exchange. The Warranty is valid for a maximum of 30 days from date of purchase and does not roll over.

Devices that are returned under the 30 day warranty will be subject to the following procedure:

The device will be subject to a full test so that we may diagnose the fault. We will either repair the item or replace like for like subject to availability. Where the item is un-repairable or no alternatives available a full refund will be processed. This process will be completed within 5 working days.

Accidental Damage and Water Damage are not covered under the warranty and if either is found the customer will be responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement unit if deemed un-repairable. No works will be undertaken without prior permission of the customer.

The customer will be liable for postal costs to and from the repair workshop in this instance.
