Rare Georgian gold filled 4 lions
watch fob seal pendant C.1820.
The fob features intricate 4 mythical lions' heads
with open mouths and starched out tongues
intertwining with their tails and foliage scrolls.
The oval flat side of the seal has elaborate
hand engraved scripted monogram.
The whole pendant is 43 mm (1 11/16") high
including the large fluted ring.
The ring itself is 18 mm diameter 2.3 mm wide.
Just the fob dangle is 29 mm high
with 24.5 X 18 mm oval seal.
There are no hallmarks.
Total weight is 10.2 grams.
Excellent antique condition
commensurate with age.
