I have used this dolly to tow my motortrike behind my motorhome. I have never tried to tow a motorcycle so I am unsure, and a bit doubtful as to whether it is suitable for that purpose.

The dolly attaches to the towbar of your vehicle (nb. not suitable for a swan neck towbar). The front wheel of the trike is loaded onto the dolly via a ramp (included in the sale) and secured to the anchor points by ratchet straps (not included in the sale). The dolly can take a front wheel tyre up to 8 inches (205mm) in width.

The trike is easily and securely towed as long as you remember to ensure that it is in neutral and the handbrake is off. (I know that sounds a bit obvious but it may surprise you to know how easy it is to forget)

When originally purchased, the dolly cost £500 and did not include a ramp or a spare wheel.

I have had it serviced, two new wheels and tyres fitted and one of the original wheels and tyre secured to the frame as a spare wheel.

This sale includes a ramp that I have had constructed specifically for this dolly.

Unfortunately, because of its size and weight, the item is collection only or the buyer can arrange transport costs if they wish.
