The sample storage capacity on the device has doubled from the first-generation volca sample, now accommodating 200 samples (including 150 presets) and expanding the capacity to 8MB (maximum of 130 seconds).
The presets and samples are entirely new, with 150 presets added that are exceptionally compatible with various genres, including Lo-Fi Hip Hop.
The pattern storage area has been increased to 16 (compared to 10 in the first-generation volca sample).
The SONG mode has been changed to pattern chain, making the sequencer more user-friendly.
It is now possible to create "loose" beats that do not conform to the 16th-note grid, suitable for genres like Lofi Hip Hop.
