Vintage perfume bottle from my Great Grandma's collection.  small chip on side of one handle

LETHERIC, SHANGHAI, PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1936
The Shanghai fragrance was introduced in 1916. This ginger jar design bottle was patented in 1936. It has separately applied glass open handles, an inner stopper and a glass overcap. The bottle was redesigned in 1939 without the glass handles and a bakelite overcap. It is very hard to find this Lentheric bottle in the original design, and in this size.  Enbossed in the glass on the bottom, "Lentheric, Made in France."
