“Herbei, herbei, was Loffel sei…” by German engraver and jewelry artist Hermann Junger (1928-2005). Born in a town near Frankfurt, Hermann Junger entered school to learn about gold and silverwork at the age of 19 in 1947. It seems that he was trained in painting and sculpture. However, the design ability at this time added new expressions to traditional goldsmiths, and established itself as a German goldsmith and designer.

This book is a collection of works by Spoon Collection collected by Hermann. Numerous spoons with various designs and materials, even though the use is the same. Many words related to the spoon, such as the lyrics of THE WHO, are handwritten. Similarly, Jasper Morrison, the product designer of Spoon's photo book, is making this book, but for Jasper who focuses on functional design, this book feels Herman's heartful look toward the daily necessities called Spoon. Published 2001, 3rd edition.
