VW 02J 5th Gear Set 0.744 EUH 1.9 TDI Manual Gearbox 02A MK4 Jetta Golf Beetle  *One Chip

This 02J 5 speed manual gearbox matched 5th gear set was removed from a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta wagon with the 1.9 liter 4-cylinder turbo diesel BEW code PD TDI engine.

This matched gear set is in good used condition with only one chipped tooth on the smaller, driven gear (see photos).  This chip is roughly 2 mm deep by 5 mm long, positioned in the middle of the tooth, and does not appear to affect overall performance.  Drive gear needle bearing is included as shown.

The drive gear has 39 teeth and driven gear has 29 teeth (0.744 ratio). This gear set was original to Volkswagen 02J 5-speed manual transmissions as fitted to the BEW code 1.9 liter 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine.  This set is compatible with VW 02J 5-speed manual transmissions as well as late 02A (93+), 02B, 02C, 0A4 and 02Z manual transmissions.
