For sale is this incredible antique glass pendant. Many sellers (both professional galleries and dealers and other eBay sellers) advertise similar pieces to these as “Ancient Roman Glass”. While it is possible this glass is ancient Roman, I found it difficult to find any scholastic journals/articles to support this. The professional archeological community doesn’t seem to identify these as such. I also couldn’t find any archeological catalogs that mentioned these in their findings that were tied to known Roman Ruins. In fact, it seems these are often found further east than where the empire ever extended (in central and South Asia around Afghanistan and Pakistan — though I believe this one was found in Eastern Europe // Central Asia). For this reason and others, I don’t personally believe this is a Roman piece. This is just based on my personal online research though, feel free to do your own. I am unsure of the age. It could still be an ancient piece, or it could be medieval aged, or it could be a modern era antique. It’s difficult to be sure. Officially I am selling it as is with no guarantees of any age (as I really am stumped to age myself). It is a wonderful piece though, and is likely very old. This is a great piece, and is starting far below estimated value. Don’t pass it up!

Be sure to check over the details and look at all of the photos so you will know exactly what you’ll get! Again, no guarantee of age. Sometimes the photos include a picture of the item next to a ruler so that you can better tell the size of the item. This way we can avoid any accidental sizing issues. My goal is to make you happy!
