Great lot of 3 display newspapers from 72 years ago for a present-day Chicago Bears fan or an Arizona Cardinals fan.

The 1950 Chicago Bears season was their 31st regular season and 10th postseason completed in the National Football League. The club posted a 9–3 record under head coach George Halas forcing a tie for first in the National Conference with the Los Angeles Rams, but the team finished in second place because the Bears lost to the Rams in the NFL's National Conference one-game playoff allowing the Rams to move on to the NFL Championship Game.

John Christopher Lujack Jr. (born January 4, 1925) is a former American football quarterback and 1947 Heisman Trophy winner. He played college football for the University of Notre Dame, and professionally for the Chicago Bears. Lujack was the first of several successful quarterbacks who hailed from Western Pennsylvania. Others include Pro Football Hall of Fame members Johnny Unitas, Joe Namath, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Joe Montana and George Blanda.
