Here's a 1" brass or bronze token or medal showing the man who received the 1880 democrat party's presidential nomination, Civil War General Winfield Scott Hancock. Considered one of the heroes of the Battle of Gettysburg, Hancock was nicknamed "The Superb."

He barely lost this election to another Civil War general, James Garfield, or history may have had one less assassinated president! What's cool about this token is that it shows Hancock's unit insignia from the war with the "superb" quote on the reverse.  We also have a token with both him and his running mate, William English on it, our item 275613371530.

This is in nice condition but please look at our images to decide this for yourself so that you can be happy with your purchase. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though eBay says we don't. We just issue a refund for any overpayment.
