I am selling my book collection. I have held a life-long interest in the Great War and have a large library of books. I am buying whisky with the proceeds of book sales (and drinking it) This very collectable book has 20 illustrations including frontispiece photograph of the Officers in 1915, with captioned tissue guard; 6 intact fold-out maps. Original maroon cloth with faded gilt titles and crest. In general, it is a scruffy copy, with browned pages with some spotting, although the book is 103 years old. A History of the Battalion from raising in 1914, right through the campaigns of the Great War Somme/Arras/Ypres/Advance in 1918 etc. It also includes Rolls of Officers and Honours, and VC Awards.
